Thanks for the compliments. I don't have much advice because the time I visited Ukraine was before the war and destruction. Not sure about the current conditions in Kiev area.
Chernobyl is very fascinating place to visit, so I do recommend it. Very unique place and it feels strange place to be in. But it's enjoyable. Kiev is (was?) a beautiful city to spend time.
I'm sure your tour operator finds you monuments and castles to see, especially the monuments are everywhere! Even in places you'd never expect.
